All About Me...

It is so important that you have a real rapport and connection with your chosen Celebrant, so let me tell you a little bit about me.....

Living in the beautiful County of Somerset, close to the borders of Dorset and Wiltshire, I'm surrounded by stunning open countryside where I enjoy walking accompanied by my little dog, Bailey.

Prior to becoming an Independent Celebrant I was a Specialist Behaviour Teaching Assistant for many years and also have a background within Health and Social Care.

Following several key important moments in my life, which happened in relatively quick succession, I found myself focusing on those things which were important in my life and which mattered most to me when considering my future. I knew how much I loved encouraging each person I encountered to celebrate their uniqueness and achievements helping them discover those hidden gems about themselves, that others overlooked; helping them to shine. I needed a 'job' where, as a supportive, compassionate person, I could continue using my natural ability to put people at ease and bring out the best from them, even when they couldn't themselves. I wanted to spend my day making a difference and being creative....

Becoming a Celebrant seemed like the natural progression for my future path.

I'm passionate about creating a ceremony to honour that moment which you want to share with your loved ones and friends and which will last for you all, as a lifelong collective memory. So, be it in remembrance of a life passed, a celebration of meeting that one person out of 7 billion you want to say "I do" to or welcoming a new person into the world, your ceremony will be unique and bespoke with your story at the heart of it.
