Funerals & Memorials
"Death leaves a heartache no one can heal,
Love leaves a memory no one can steal."Â Â Unknown
Should you find yourself reading this because you are suddenly faced with the reality of living without someone you love – or are preparing for bereavement, my thoughts go out to you.
During this time of overwhelming emotion there is nothing anyone can say or do to comfort you or take your pain away. Life begins to be a constant battle, just to get through each day as best as you can. Some days are harder than others and one of the first big hurdles to get through is thinking about the funeral and making the necessary arrangements.
People coping with the loss of a loved one are not always fully aware of the many funeral choices available to them. They gratefully accept whatever suggestions are made and don’t realise that they could have done things differently until afterwards.
Many families feel this is the last thing they can do for their loved one and they want to do the best they can to honour them and show that their loss is significant to those left behind.

If you would prefer something more personal and meaningful than a traditional service, then together we could create a beautiful and fitting funeral ceremony for your loved one.
A Celebrant led Ceremony is an opportunity to focus on the relationship and memories you shared and ensures that the person who has died is remembered for all the right reasons.

Together we will meet and discuss
your wishes and ideas.
I will learn all I can about the person you are grieving for and create the most appropriate and meaningful funeral or memorial service - allowing you to be sorrowful but enabling you to remember, reflect and celebrate the life of the special and unique person you have lost.
"Never say goodbye
because saying goodbye means going away
and going away means forgetting"
Peter Pan
If you would like me to help you through this dark and troubled time it would be both my honour and privilege.
Each Ceremony I conduct is individually created from start to finish. There are no rules. During the Ceremony I openly welcome and encourage participation from those family members and friends who wish to express their own sentiments and say goodbye in ways that have significance for themselves and all those present.
Throughout this distressing time I am here for you every step of the way. I will do everything I can to make sure that you come away from the service we create, feeling that you have said everything you needed to and that you did your very best for your loved one.
Whatever your personal wishes are for the Ceremony please feel free to get in touch and discuss them with me.
